About Me
My Name is Jan Staes. 39 years old and living in the Netherlands. I'm a skilled photoshopper with 10 years of expierence. I work fast and have a great eye for detail. I'm experienced with all kind of image editing. E.g. Retouching, manipulation, compositing, restoration, colorization, printed matter like business cards, flyers, posters and a lot more.
Going To Work
I work as a freelancer. If you want to hire me then drop me a mail explaining what it is that you want me to do. Don't forget to include any images. I will get back to you within 24 hours. I work for individuals and companies. I will work on large, small and quick assignments. When it is clear for me what you want me to do I go to work. If I have any questions I will contact you. After the job is done I send you the files.
What It Cost
My hourly rate is €17,5 or $19,5 USD. For bigger assignments I will contact the cliënt to negotiate a fixed price. If you have a urgent job for me you will get priority, but the cost for that is €25 or $28 USD extra. If you have work for a longer period of time discount is negotiable. Red eye removal and fixing color cast is free. If you are for some reason not satisfied about the work I delivered, you don't have to pay for it.

Printed Matter

Manipulation
Transform a photograph into a desired image. Change colors, add/remove objects or persons. Add special effects etc. The sky is the limit. It's all posible with photo manipulation.
Compositing
Compositing is the combining of visual elements from separate sources into single images, often to create the illusion that all those elements are parts of the same scene.
Digital Restoration
Rebuilding your old, damaged or faded photo's. After restoration the photo will look as it was shot today. Note that if the photo is damaged severely, it can take a while to restore.
Retouching
No wrinkles, no pimples, no scares, only smooth skin, white teeth, beutifull make-up and so on. I can do a light, medium or heavy retouch without loss of skin texture.
Colorization
Change a black and white photo into a color photo. Coloring a photo doesn't require a lot of skills, but sometimes it can take a while. It all depends on the amount of content within the image.
Photo Improvement
Noise, color cast, red eyes, overexposure, underexposure and unsharpness are all common problems in "amateur" photography. In most cases these are quite easy to fix, but note that changing a low resolution into a high resolution photo is not possible.
Digital Oil Paints
Turn your photo into a beautifull sharp, bright and colorful digital oil paint. I 'm specialized in animals. I draw the original over with brush strokes to create an effect that can't be achieved with filters. Real nice to print.
Free Red Eye Removal
Did you know I fix red eyes for free? The same goes for color cast. These are quick and easy to fix and I will not charge you for this. So send your images over and spread the word.
